Outlook, Excel & Visio has an enhanced experience thanks to the latest Office Insider release for Windows
Microsoft has published a new Office build in the Current Channel for Windows Office Insiders. Outlook, Excel, and Visio all get new functionality in Office Version 2207 (Build 15427.20090) and its brand-new visual experience that makes information easier to understand.
The new Outlook also has improved relevance to help you discover the right results, as well as enhancements to assist you quickly finding the next occurrence in a chain of events in your Calendar. Furthermore, Microsoft has enhanced Excel PivotTables linked to Power BI datasets, including the ability to generate aggregations on the fly by dragging any field into the Values section (including Implicit Measures). The most recent Office version significantly decreased the fragmentation of conditional formatting rules.

Changes in Excel
Improved Power BI-connected PivotTables
- Microsoft improved PivotTables that are linked to Power BI datasets, such as the ability to generate aggregations on the fly by dragging any field into the Values section (including Implicit Measures).
- To create a PivotTable connected to Power BI, go to Insert > PivotTable > Form Power BI and select any dataset available from the Power BI Dataset side pane.
Reduced fragmentation of conditional formatting rules
- When pasting copied cells into a continuous cell range, the fragmentation of conditional formatting rules might be a cause of annoyance. Microsoft now implemented enhancements to reduce such fragmentation, as well as to cut computation times and make such rules easier to administer.

- Microsoft has made substantial enhancements to Outlook's Calendar search! These include a completely new visual experience that makes it simpler to process information, improved relevance to help you locate the proper results and modifications that allow you to easily discover the next occurrence in a series of events in your Calendar.

See files others have shared with you
- The Shared with Me list makes it easy to discover important documents in Visio. Any papers exchanged with you will appear in your list automatically; typically, the most relevant items for you will be at the top of the list. It's worth noting that you'll only view the files that individuals have decided to share with you, keeping their other data safe. To use this function, go to the Home tab or the Open tab and choose Shared with Me.
