Samsung has introduced a new service called Samsung Wallet
Samsung unveiled a new service called Samsung Wallet earlier this week, which combines all of the capabilities of Samsung Pass and Samsung Pay. In some countries, the Samsung Wallet app is now available for download through the Galaxy Store.
If you have a Samsung Pay-compatible smartphone running Android 9 or higher and live in one of the seven countries where the app is available—France, Germany, Italy, Spain, South Korea, the United Kingdom, and the United States—you may download the Samsung Wallet app from the Galaxy Store.
Here’s what you can store in the Samsung Wallet
- Payment cards
- Loyalty/membership cards
- Digital IDs — such as a student ID or driver’s license
- Passwords
- Digital keys (house, car, etc.)
- Crypto currency portfolio monitoring
- COVID-19 vaccination certificates
- Korean Air boarding passes
This new app has the ability to save boarding passes, credit cards, debit cards, digital keys (vehicle and home), gift cards, health passes, login passwords, membership cards, and cryptocurrency data. Thanks to Samsung Knox, all data is securely stored and accessible by biometrics.
