UPI – Unified Payment Interface
NPCI (National Payments Corporation of India) announced the bank applications for the Unified Payment Interface. UPI is a payment system that allows money transfer between any two bank accounts by using a smartphone and UPI Apps. UPI apps allows a customer to pay directly from your bank account to different merchants both Offline and Online without entering credit card details, IFSC code, or net banking/wallet passwords.
As of today, below Banks have upgraded their Mobile Banking Apps with UPI Functionality.

UPI Apps is safe as the customers only share a virtual address and provide no other sensitive information and you will be able to perform almost all transaction like Merchant Payments, remittances, bill payments among others.
Through UPI Apps, the transaction limit is Rs.1 lakh. Users can make an in-app payment for goods or services purchased online and through UPI app the transaction information is verified and followed by entry of a secure PIN for completing the purchase.
